Corporate Slaves

Plantation slavery in America ended during the American Civil War, only to be slowly and silently replaced by an even more pernicious form of slavery.

More and more Americans have become ‘Corporate Slaves’, owing their first allegiance to huge global corporations rather than to individuality, personal freedom, or even our American Constitution.

Mega-corporations are enslaving millions of persons in the Third World as low-paid cogs in amoral corporate enterprises which are destroying Planet Eden’s rain forests, flooding world markets with millions of tons of pesticide laden plantation crops, and creating festering urban slums filled with hungry masses willing to enslave themselves to the corporate machines for $2.00 per day.

The corporate beasts are devouring small businesses, individuality and freedom of expression. Global media networks control thousands of local newspapers, control what we hear, what we see and what we read. Global retail outlets undersell and force out of business locally owned hardware, clothing, grocery, and other family owned businesses.

Huge agri-business corporations are destroying the ability of independent farm families to make an honest living from the land.

When the only jobs available are with either mega-government agencies or with mega-corporations we in effect are giving up our individual rights as free citizens to become their dependents.

When the only products available must be purchased from mega-corporations propped by the corporate socialists in political power using our tax-dollars, we in effect become the pawns of mega-government and their sponsored mega-corporations.

We thus become ‘Corporate Slaves’, dependent upon our mega-corporate masters for employment and subsistence.
