Many of the world’s poorest countries are deeply in debt to the world’s richest countries. In many cases these poor nations are destroying their forests and their wildlife in order to pay off the heavy burden of debt.

We cannot afford to allow our one and only biosphere to be destroyed causing all creatures great and small to suffer and die, so that the wealthy elite of the planet can drive bigger cars, fly in more luxurious private jets, or purchase bigger jewels.

We must forgive the onerous burden of debt by promoting the protection and preservation of Planet Eden’s great natural treasures.

For example, if Brazil owes the World Bank a billion dollars, then that debt should be forgiven if Brazil protects an additional ten million acres of rain forest from destruction.

No debt should ever be forgiven unless the debtor protects their environment in exchange.

Debt for Nature is a mission of The Universal Ethician Church.
