MIRACULOUS RECOVERIES

The day was largely overcast, yet after lunch I was drawn to explore an area below the cliffs of Bay Hill where Native Americans had lived for thousands of years.

Walking along the shore of the lake, I found a number of “Indian Rocks” and placed them in a basket. I then spotted a beautiful little butterfly that appeared to have drowned. She was lying in shallow water with wavelets lapping over her. There was no sign of life and her wings appeared broken.

I left my basket at about that point walking onward looking for more signs of past habitation on the site. I was feeling a little sad because of having seen the poor drowned butterfly when I spotted a “Magic Rock” -- that is an exceptionally beautiful rock that was obviously a prized possession of a Native American of long ago.

I held the rock in my hand and could feel its strange and mystical power as I returned to the basket. I looked down at where the butterfly lay in the cold and shallow water and her wings had straightened out. I picked the butterfly up and noticed the twitch of an antenna. The poor creature was alive. I told her that she would be ok and to rest and dry her wings.

I placed her on a log and she was able to stand with her wings erect. I placed the “Magic Rock” beside her and asked the sun to come out and warm her and dry her wings. Within seconds the sun peeped out from behind the clouds and shown down upon the butterfly.

Continuing my rock hunting further down the shore I saw another butterfly of the same species lying in the shallow water. This poor creature also appeared lifeless. I reached down to touch her and one of her tiny legs twitched. She was alive!!! I took her and placed her beside her friend on the log and she stood and opened her wings to dry them out.

I asked the “Great Spirit of the Universe” to bring them strength so that they could continue their journeys. Over the course of about 20 minutes I would periodically return to the log. With each visit the two butterflies seemed stronger.

When it was time to leave, I replaced the “Magic Rock” with another even larger rock, a beautiful piece of petrified wood, to be their guardian. As I was leaving with my basket full of “Indian Rocks”, I spotted another “dead” butterfly, this time lying on the ground. I picked her up and asked that her life be renewed. She began to move in the warmth of my hand. I took her to the log and she too, was able to stand on all six tiny legs.

As I left, I told the little insects to be strong and brave and soak in the rays of the healing sun so that they could enjoy at least one more flight together before departing to the mysteries of “The Great Beyond”.

28 October 2005 Wilderness Cathedral

A lady who loves Waterwood because of the wildlife was being interviewed for an infomercial. She said that she had never seen an Eagle. At that moment a flock of Vultures began circling over the Wilderness Cathedral. I said, "sometimes Eagles fly with the Vultures" and suddenly at that very moment two adult Bald Eagles flew from the Cathedral and joined the Vultures. After the Vultures left they put on an acrobatic display which lasted several minutes.

A few weeks ago I was talking to my parent's next door neighbor about birds. He is 70 years old and said that he had never seen an Osprey. I told him to stay alert and he might see one. Within a minute an Osprey flew right overhead.

A couple of years ago I encountered a group of bird watchers on Doral near my parent's house. I told them that if they were lucky they might see an Eagle even though I hadn't seen one in some time. One of the couples said that they had never seen an Eagle. At that very moment I looked up and three Eagles were flying overhead. The bird watchers were sore amazed.

Now if we had a resident population of these birds these strange convergences might not seem so strange. For example, Ospreys had been missing from this part of the lake for many months. Sometimes months go by without a single Eagle spotting, much less two or three at a time, and then at the very moment that I was discussing those birds with elderly bird watchers who had never seen one in their entire lives, the Eagles present themselves in all their majestic glory. Waterwood seems to be a spiritual vortex for the apparition of "Strange Convergences"!!!

30 October 2005

For some reason the lake was practically devoid of birds near the Eagle Sanctuary, save a few Vultures, a Great Blue Heron, Little Blue Heron, a few Cormorants and a Snowy Egret. Gone were the thousands of Pelicans, Cormorants, and large flocks of Vultures that had been parading in front of the house the last few days. I decided to take a walk along the shores of the Eagle Sanctuary. A small gathering of Turkey Vultures were hanging out on the beach and as I approached they flew into the air and began circling overhead. Soon they were joined by a juvenile Eagle. The Vultures soared onward but the Eagle seemed interested in me and where I was going. The curious bird followed me for at least 200 yards as I walked slowly down the beach. Almost every time I looked up the Eagle would be soaring almost directly over my head. As I was walking rather slowly looking for Indian rocks, the big bird must have spent several minutes following me and hovering over me.

Eventually it flew down to Princess Point where it perched in a tree waiting for me to arrive on foot.

CATHEDRAL TALES

GOD’S WARNING TO SHECO

In September of 2003, Sam Houston Electric Cooperative (SHECO), trespassed upon and violated the Sanctity of God’s Holy Creation at The Holy Trinity Wilderness Cathedral, damaging or destroying hundreds of beautiful trees and flowering shrubs.

Subsequently SHECO has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in an ongoing effort to further defile The Wilderness Cathedral, The Chapel of the Nativity, and our Church Cemetery.

This afternoon, after working on the roads through The Great Spirit Wilderness, I drove to the house for a bite to eat around 4 p.m. On the way it dawned on me that the great damage visited upon SHECO by Hurricane Rita, must certainly be a warning and retribution from God for SHECO’s blasphemy against God in the form of targeting His Holy Cathedral for further desecration.

I remembered Revelation 11:18, “He who destroys the Earth also shall be destroyed”, and I felt certain that The Cathedral, Chapel and Cemetery had been spared from Rita’s wrath including the adjacent SHECO distribution lines as God’s blessing, but that much of SHECO’s infrastructure had been damaged or destroyed elsewhere to send SHECO a stern warning to repent, reform, and respect God’s Holy Cathedral.

(Earlier, Entergy had trespassed upon and defiled the Sanctity of The Holy Trinity Wilderness Cathedral. Entergy’s infrastructure was seriously damaged as well, but not its transmission line through the Cathedral grounds.)

As I entered the house I asked God to send me a sign that I was correct about His wrath being directed against SHECO in the form of “Rita” for SHECO’s incompetence for not having placed its power lines underground as well as for SHECO’s irreparable harm to God’s Creation, its contribution to global warming and hence more powerful hurricanes, and especially because of SHECO’s continuing efforts to further defile Sanctified and Holy Ground.

I walked out on the deck to check on our Hummingbirds. The sky suddenly darkened and a strong wind began blowing toward me from the East.

(The baby Eagle just flew past our American flag and on to his Sanctuary where he has perched in one of his favorite trees, as I write this message 4:35 p.m.)

After about five minutes a baby Eagle flew past me and along the shore of the Eagle Sanctuary. As he passed out of sight an adult Eagle flew from the Sanctuary out over the lake. At that instant a perfect rainbow appeared on the far shore of the lake framing a gathering of 50 or so Great Egrets and over 100 tiny shore birds perching on a mud flat.

Just as quickly as the darkness and wind had come, so it did leave. The waters stilled and the sun burst out.

Surely SHECO has been rebuked by God Almighty Himself. Hopefully SHECO will understand God’s message and mend its blasphemous ways by respecting God’s Holy Creation on the grounds of His Wilderness Cathedral.

GOOD SIGN!

MARCH 11, 2005

Got to the house at Waterwood around 3:45, from several days of high stress in the Courtroom of the SOAH in Austin, in our "David vs. Goliath" battle against SHECO and its scheme to damage our Sanctuaries and Preserves for no legitimate reason. Went outside to soak in a few healing rays as I had felt like hammered dog caca for about 2.5 days.

I hoped for a positive sign and a Turkey Vulture appeared. NOT A REAL GOOD SIGN considering my poor health.

I soaked in a few more rays and then for good measure anointed my forehead with Ethician Holy Oil.

Immediately thereafter an Eagle appeared from someplace over the Eagle Sanctuary flew toward me, circled, and then flew along the cove along the shores of the Sanctuary to the West and disappeared. A REAL GOOD SIGN!!!

Within 60 seconds I noticed a rather significant improvement in how I felt moments earlier.

Let's hope that the "Eagle Effect" lasts. I will however, go directly to bed as insurance toward returning to normal.
